About Us

Life and Careers is a small talent search and recruitment business helping businesses hire legal, marketing, finance and operations talent. We pride ourselves on a service-driven, personal approach to every assignment we work on. We focus on building long term relationships with our clients and our candidates.

We are passionate about what we do and love helping, whether you are looking for the next step in your career or you are hiring talent for your team or business.

Our Story

Back in 2017, our founder started a career advice website called Mothers & Careers, focusing on offering career advice to busy London mums. Following on from the success of the blog, a job board was launched where the focus was on flexible, part time and hybrid work.

Mothers & Careers was re-branded Parents & Careers (www.parentsandcareers.com) in 2021, to include busy dads and to provide a full recruitment service. In the aftermath of covid, flexible working have been embraced by most companies. We still help parents find flexible/hybrid or part time jobs, and our jobsite Parents & Careers continue to give career advice and interview tips. Our Richmond-based Life & Careers recruitment arm was launched in 2024 to provide recruitment services to local businesses in SW London, Richmond-Upon-Thames and Surrey.
